New Delhi: The web series 'Tandav' starring Saif Ali Khan is on the go. Firs have been lodged against artists who created the dance web series in several Hindi states. Fed up with this, India Original Content (Amazon) chief Aparna Purohit, producer Himanshu Krishna Mehra, actor Zeeshan Ayyub have filed a petition in the apex court. In which these artists of Tandav have demanded the cancellation of the FIR lodged against them in Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.

In fact, fir has been lodged against the producer-director, writer, and others of the web series 'Tandav' at Hazratganj Kotwali in Lucknow. The FIR has added several other sections including section 153 (a) of IPC (attempt to spread hatred among people on the basis of religion, language, race, etc.), 295 (damaging or desecrating the place of worship with the intention of insulting the religion of a class).

Similarly, the Madhya Pradesh Police has registered two FIR in Jabalpur and Gwalior against the makers of the Amazon Prime web series "Tandav". Because of this, artists belonging to the 'Tandav' web series are seen to be falling into legal trouble. The petition, filed in the Supreme Court, will be heard on January 27.
