Over the past few days, the controversy between Bollywood actress Tanushree Datta and actor Nana Patekar has been much appreciated. Recently, Tanushree has revealed in a media interview that during the shooting of a film item number in 2008, actor Nana Patekar tried to exploit her. Now in this matter, the Maharashtrian political party 'Maharashtra Navnirman Sena' has also been wrapped up.
Talking to the media recently, actress Tanushree Dutta has said that since she has accused Nana Patekar for sexual harassment, she is getting threats of violent attacks from the political party. Describing her point in detail, Tanushree has said that since some time she took the name of Nana Patekar, some leaders of Raj Thackeray's party 'Maharashtra Navnirman Sena' are threatening to strike her violently. She has also complained to the police.
Mumbai Police is also very much appreciated by the Tanushree in this case. She said - when i got politicians' threats as soon as I complained to the police. Immediately the police came to my house and told me to provide security. The Mumbai Police has assured Tanushree Dutta that the police will monitor her house 24 hours a day. Tanushree Dutta has also thanked the Mumbai Police for this.
It is worth mentioning that when Tanushree Dutta disclosed the sexual harassment of Nana Patekar, many Bollywood stars like Farhan Akhtar, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhavan, Anurag Kashyap and Swara Bhaskar are standing in her support. Recently, the family members of Tanushree Dutta too have taunted Nana Patekar and the police administration in response to this whole issue.
Let us tell you that actress Tanushree Dutta has come in front of the media last week and said that during the shooting of an item number of a movie 'horn okay please' in 2008, artist Nana Patekar had tried sexual harassment. In 2015, director Vivek Agnihotri did the same while shooting the film 'Chocolate'.
