As per the Box Office reports of the movies released this Friday. Shabash Mithu collected less than a crore on day 1 of its release. The first-day collection for the film stands at around 0.80 crore, which is less than Hit: The First Case starring Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra. Both the films were released on the same day.

Taapsee Pannu-led starrer Shaabash Mithu failed to grab the audience on its first day of release. 40 lakh on its first day. Given that Taapsee Pannu is a known and dependable face in the Entertainment Industry, a better number was certainly what everyone in the trade would have expected. With numbers like these, the film stands no chance to sustain at the ticket window.

Hit: The First Case

 While Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra starrer Hit: The First Case has managed to earn more than Shaabash Mithu but the collection is not that big. Its first day opened to a dismal Rs. 1 cr net at the box office. The film is a thriller and since it is a remake, the suspense element goes for a toss. The film has to make up for the lost ground before a release like Shamshera takes up all the performing screens. Earlier this year, another Rajkummar Rao starrer opened in the same range but went on to collect Rs. 20 cr and it is to be seen if Hit: The First Case is able to replicate or not.

While the other release Thor: Love and Thunder is winning the hearts of the audience. The fourth part of thor's franchise become the best debut and its collection amount is very big.  R Madhvan’s Rocketry is also doing well at the box office due to its mouth publicity.
