Between the lockdown and the Corona transition, a task force led by Economic Affairs Secretary Atanu Chakraborty linked investment plans of Rs 111 lakh crore to create the social and economic infrastructure needed to bolster economic growth during 2020-25. Apart from this, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman released a brief report prepared for 2019-2025 on 31 December. An official statement said that recommendations have been made in this report for major infrastructure projects. In the final report of the NIP Task Force, a total of Rs 111 lakh crore infrastructure projects have been recommended in the financial year 2020-25.
