Even though Indian youth shuttler Tasnim Mir won the title of the Under-15 Asia Junior Badminton Championship. Pune's top seed Tasneem won her first trophy in the category by beating her compatriot Tara Shah in the final, losing 17-21, 21-11, 21-19 after trailing by one game in a 55-minute match.

According to the media report, the two players gave tough competition to each other but in the end Tasneem was successful in winning the game. Where both Indian players performed better than the previous championship in Myanmar in which it was eliminated in the quarter-finals.

For information, let us tell you that Tasnim Mir defeated Japan's Sora Ishioka 21-16 21-11 in the semi-finals and Tara defeated Kazune Iwato of the same country 21-18 21-14 in the title match.
