Tata Boeing Aerospace (TBAL) has marked a significant milestone by completing the delivery of the 250th fuselage for the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter from its cutting-edge facility located in Hyderabad.

The joint venture between Boeing and Tata Advanced Systems (TASL) announced that these fuselages cater to a global clientele, including the U.S. Army, and most recently, a batch of six units ordered by the Indian Army.

TBAL hailed the delivery of the 250th fuselage as a crucial achievement, underscoring its unwavering commitment to fortifying India's defense capabilities and promoting indigenous manufacturing expertise.

Employing over 900 skilled engineers and technicians, the 14,000 square meter facility harnesses state-of-the-art robotics, automation, and advanced aerospace methodologies in its manufacturing operations. Serving as the primary global supplier for Apache fuselages, the facility highlights the significant contribution of more than 100 micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) suppliers, who collectively manufacture over 90% of the parts used in Apache aero structure assemblies within India.
