Tata Motors Announces 3% Price Increase for Commercial Vehicles, Details Inside

New Delhi: Tata Motors has revealed plans to raise prices for its commercial vehicle lineup across India by 3 percent, with the revised prices set to take effect from October 1, 2023. In a regulatory filing dated September 18, 2023, Tata Motors officially announced its intention to implement these price adjustments, stating, "Tata Motors will be implementing a price increase of up to 3% on its vehicles, effective October 1, 2023."
 
India's foremost commercial vehicle manufacturer has attributed this decision to mitigate the residual effects of past input cost fluctuations, and this price increase will be applicable to their entire range of commercial vehicles. Tata Motors, a globally recognized automobile manufacturer specializing in cars, utility vehicles, pickups, trucks, and buses, also offers a wide array of integrated, intelligent, and electric mobility solutions. Notably, Tata Motors holds a dominant position as India's market leader in commercial vehicles.

Over the past month, Tata Motors' share price has remained relatively stable, fluctuating between Rs 600 and Rs 640. On September 18, 2023, the closing share price for Tata Motors was recorded at Rs 640.85.
 
It's worth noting that Tata Motors' share price has exhibited significant growth over the past year. On September 19, 2022, a single share of this automotive giant was valued at Rs 425, but today it commands a price of Rs 640.
