Mumbai: Tata Motors announced on Friday that starting in January, it will hike prices across its entire passenger vehicle line to mitigate the impact of growing input costs. Ducati, a luxury motorbike manufacturer, has  also announced that it will raise prices across its entire product line beginning next month. "Commodity, raw material, and other input costs are all continuing to climb. To offset rising cost pressures, the business will have to raise the prices of its passenger vehicles starting in January 2022 "Shailesh Chandra, President of Tata Motors' Passenger Vehicles Business Unit (PVBU), stated.

The company, which sells a range of models such as the Nexon and Harrier, did not specify the amount of the planned price rise. Ducati said that starting January 1, 2022, all motorbike prices will increase on an ex-showroom basis. The new rates will apply to all models and variants of the vehicle across the country, as well as to all nine official Ducati dealerships, according to the company. "Ducati India works hard to keep the cost of its motorcycles in the Indian market as low as possible.

However, due to increases in material, production, and logistics costs, as well as higher costs of other natural resources, Ducati India has been forced to raise the prices of its models "It was stated.
