Tata Motors Reports 2% Rise in Sales to 76,766 Units in May

Mumbai: Tata Motors announced a 2% increase in total wholesales to 76,766 units in May compared to 74,973 units in the same month last year.

According to a regulatory filing, the company's domestic sales totaled 75,173 units last month, up from 73,448 units in May 2023, reflecting a growth of 2%. The sales of passenger vehicles, including electric vehicles, in the domestic market rose by 2% to 47,075 units compared to 45,984 units in the same month last year.

Additionally, Tata Motors reported a 2% increase in total commercial vehicle sales, reaching 29,691 units in May 2024, up from 28,989 units in May 2023.

Shares of Tata Motors on the Weekend Friday May 31m Closed at Rs 924.50 per share on the National Stock Exchange.
