Automobile manufacturer Tata Motors on Saturday announced that it will hike the price of its passenger vehicles range by up to Rs 25,000 from starting April 2019. This increase in price is due to rising input costs and external economic conditions, the company said in a statement.

Mayank Pareek, President, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit, Tata Motors expalined the reason behind the raise in price. He said “The changing market conditions, rising input costs and various external economic factors have compelled us to consider this price increase."
