Bookings for the Tata Punch mini SUV will begin next week. The automaker has announced that bookings will begin on October 4, the same day that the vehicle will be unveiled to the public.

Tata Motors has yet to provide any information on the booking fee. It opted to reveal more features of the upcoming mini SUV instead. The automaker announced on social media that the Punch's doors will open at an approximately 90-degree angle. This feature will make getting in and out of the car much easier.
Tata Motors had already teased the Punch mini SUV's external and interior design and features. A set of LED DRL units will be included. The broad bonnet design has a prominent grille flanked by headlights. The black cladding on the sides adds to the SUV-like appearance, and the arrow-shaped wrap-around taillights in the back contribute to the expensive looks.

Tata Punch will, according to reports, be larger than some of its competitors. According to rumours, the Punch will be broader than the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, one of its main competitors. In comparison to the Ignis, it is also likely to have a higher ground clearance. Tata Punch's interior will most likely have a dual-tone motif with colour accents on the AC vents and dashboard. Harman's infotainment system is similar in size to that seen in the Nexon SUV and the Altroz luxury hatchback. It will be Apple Car Play and Android Auto compatible.

Altroz is also anticipated to supply a digital-analogue instrument cluster for the Tata Punch. A multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel, automated climate control, and a start-stop button are among the other amenities. Tata Punch is expected to be powered by a 1.2-liter petrol engine with a turbocharger. The engine will be paired to one of two transmissions: a five-speed manual or an automatic. The engine has a power output of 86 PS and a torque output of 113 Nm.
