Kolkata: BJP National Vice President and former Union Minister Mukul Roy has once again joined the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) in West Bengal. Since his move, it is said to be a big blow to the BJP. However, in this regard, veteran BJP leader Tathagata Roy criticised former Union minister Mukul Roy departure will not affect the BJP.

Tathagata Roy said Mukul had joined the BJP from the Trinamool Congress (TMC) and has returned to it today. Only they can give the reason behind it. He (Mukul) wanted to say something today but Mamata Banerjee quickly ended the press conference. Tathagata Roy further said that BJP is a party which occupies the Centre with 303 MPs in the Lok Sabha. Mukul Roy's resignation will not affect the BJP.

The former Tripura Governor said that a handful of others may also quit the BJP but it will not affect the party's base. The Blessed One said, "If Rajiv Banerjee wants to go, let him go." He also lost the election. Mukul Roy is the leader of the state and was made national vice president by the BJP.
