The "Taylor's Version" of "Speak Now" will be made available on July 7th, according to a recent announcement by Taylor Swift. The singer confirmed that the album will be accessible in all media during her performance in Nashville. Swift also revealed that "Speak Now" will now include six additional tracks from her back catalog.

The displays then showed the Speak Now (Taylor's Version) album cover and its July 7 release date. Swift's official social media sites quickly followed with a lengthy comment about her "self-written" third studio album, which she produced between the ages of 18 and 20, confirming the revelation.

Taylor said “The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions and wild wistfulness,” the caption read. “I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying and crashing … and living to speak about it.”

Swift has been recording brand-new iterations of her Big Machine releases, and so far, "Taylor's Version" copies of "Fearless" and "Red" have been made available. Following her public outrage at her Big Machine library being sold against her will, fans have complied with her wishes to only purchase and watch the versions where she owns the recordings outright.

Swift recorded the song "Carolina" in between albums for Olivia Newman's cinematic adaption of the Where the Crawdads Sing novel from 2018. Swift received two nominations for the song: one for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards and one at the Golden Globes. She launched her "Eras Tour" in November, but Ticketmaster gave in to fan pressure to purchase tickets, leading to numerous complaints and a Senate subcommittee hearing regarding Ticketmaster's business practices. and its parent company, Live Nation Entertainment. Swift is reportedly set to direct a feature-length film from her own script, but further details of that project have not yet been made public.
