Fourth of July just isn’t the same without an epic Taylor Swift bash, but the singer has opted for a low-key celebration in recent years. Why the change? Swift’s shift in priorities could be a major reason. 

But Taylor Swift had decided in the year 2017 to take a step back from the spotlight, skipping the July party, before returning to social media to kick off the reputation era in August. Swift has mostly let her lyrics do the talking and they had a lot to say. 

Apparently skipping the July party swift is enjoying a much-deserved vacation with boyfriend Joe Alwyn over the Fourth of July holiday.

They both have dated secretly for months before their relationship became public last May were photographed frolicking in the ocean together while on vacation in Turks and Caicos.

Swift wore a striped, retro-inspired two piece swimsuit for the outing and was seen cuddling up to her boyfriend in the water as they snorkeled and soaked up the sun.
