Srikakulam: Recently Deputy Chief Minister Dharmana Krishnadas talked about the Palasa Mandal incident. He said, 'TDP leaders are trying to do politics with regard to Palasa Mandal incident'. Apart from this, he said, 'CI Venugopal has been suspended in the context of the incident of kicking a Dalit youth. TDP leaders are doing politics about this suspension.' He also said, 'TDP is trying to tarnish the image by propagating false propaganda against the government in the context of this matter.'

In Palasa Mandal earlier, there was a fight between two youths named Ramesh and Jagan of Tekkali town. After that, both went to Kashibugga police station to write a complaint against each other. There the police explained to both and tried to send them back home, but in the meantime, CI Venugopal kicked a Dalit youth named Jagan. During this, some people there made a video of it and made it viral on social media.

The information of this matter has been found in the DGP office, but according to the discipline of the department, it has been asked to take action. The DIG has been ordered by the DGP to suspend the CI on Tuesday night. Now Deputy Chief Minister Dharmana Krishnadas has alleged, ' TDP is trying to do politics on the incident and they are exposing the incident to the people. Efforts are also being made against the government for wrong publicity.'
