Lucknow: In UP's Vrindavan, a coaching teacher and some others have been accused of drugging and raping a girl. Due to this, the victim jumped into the Yamuna to commit suicide. Although some people saved her. The student alleged that during a party, her drink was laced with drugs and she was stripped naked and videoed. The girl told that similar incidents have happened with more than a dozen girls, but no one has said anything for fear of defamation. The Class 12 student alleged that she was repeatedly raped over a period of several weeks by her teacher and some other youths at the coaching center.

After the incident came to the fore, the girl along with her parents went to the police station to file a complaint, but the police refused to register the complaint. She further claimed that the police had slapped her accusing her of being drunk. Later, the family approached Dr. Lakshmi Gautam, chairperson of the Kanak Dhara Foundation, for assistance. The Foundation has now taken the matter into her own hands and has demanded an inquiry.

Let us inform you that recently another such incident had come to light from Aligarh in the state itself. Here a teacher abducted a girl student studying in class 7th and raped her. On this matter, SP Rural Palash Bansal told that the age of the minor girl student is 13-14 years. When the girl did not return home after school, the family members first searched here and there for a long time. When nothing was found anywhere, a report was lodged at the police station.
