New Delhi: Teachers' Day is being celebrated across the country today. The festival is celebrated every year on 5th September and the blessings of teachers are sought on this occasion. Now, on Teachers' Day today, all political figures including PM Modi have greeted the people of the country. At the same time, everyone has remembered The First Vice President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary.



In a tweet on the occasion, PM Modi said, "Greetings to the teachers' fraternity on teachers' day, teachers play an important role in the intellectual development of youth. Let me tell all of you that Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the First Vice President and second President of independent India, was born on September 5, 1888, and guided many youths with his knowledge.
