Saharsa: Teachers in Bihar's Saharsa district have started protesting. More than 100 planned teachers under the banner of Bihar Panchayat Nagar Preliminary Teachers' Association staged a protest and shouted slogans at the Education Department office demanding pending salaries. The teachers shouted slogans against the office bearers of the Education Department.

The agitating teachers also cordoned off the Office of the District Education Officer and placed their demands. The agitating teachers said that according to the Bihar government's order, all teachers had received an order to pay before Eid. But the salaries of teachers have been stuck here because of the arbitrariness of the DPO. Three blocks have not yet been paid, which is pending for three months. Also, in the case of 8 per cent HR, they say that they will not give, whereas as per the rules, all schools within 8 kms from the city council area are given 8 per cent HR by each department.

He has said that those people have been paid by the high school. But we have not yet been paid because of HR. The case is that these people are deliberately kept pending the case, so that some motives are fulfilled.
