New Delhi: BCCI can take action against the administrative manager of the Indian cricket team. Team manager Sunil Subramanian has been charged with misbehaving with the officials of the country's High Commission in the West Indies. Sunil Subramanian's 45-day tenure with the support staff led by Ravi Shastri was extended and he is unlikely to continue after the series against the West Indies. India's West Indies tour will end with a Test series on September 3.

A board source said the Indian team had to shoot a small advertisement on water conservation at the direction of the government. It is learnt that the BCCI informed two High Commission officials that Subramanian would cooperate with him as he is the administrative manager. When a senior Official of the High Commission of India in Trinidad and Tobago spoke to Subramanian for his cooperation, he rudely told him, "Don't send so much message to me."

Due to this Hima Das will suffer problems in the Olympics.

The Board has come to know that Subramanian did not even pick up his phone while he was following the official instructions. An attempt was made to contact Subramanian on the issue but could not. Subramanian became the team's administrative manager in 2017. The officials were not happy and the matter reached Delhi and the access to the Committee of Administrators (COA) was over. BCI's COA Rahul Johri and his team had to defend the beach.
