Jamaica: The first Test match of the two-test series between India and the West Indies will be played in Antigua today. The stadium in Antigua has been named after the legendary West Indian batsman Sir Vivian Richards. The Indian team also played their practice match on the same field. The pitch is likely to help the fast bowlers as there is light grass on the wicket and the seaside is often accompanied by strong winds.

The duo of Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri will have to make two choices for the match. One is, who will bat at number four and the second is, who will be the wicket-keeper in the final XI? Ridhiman Saha or Rishabh Pant. In fact, Rohit Sharma plays as opener batsman in ODIs and T20s, but in Test cricket, he has been batting at number five or six. Rahane is a senior and had a good batting against Windies A in the practice match. He has already made openings for the team.

So, chances are that Rahane, along with Mayank Agarwal, can open for the Indian team. Even after poor form and criticism, Rishabh Pant will be given preference over Ridhiman Saha. In Australia, they had scored a Test century. Three fast bowlers and two spinners can remain Team India's bowling combination.
