New Delhi: Team India has got new head coach, bowling coach and fielding coach only last week. Now the team has to get new support staff. Under this, the appointment of a new trainer or strength and conditioning coach is also to be done. But there is no consensus between the Indian cricket team and the selectors on this issue. According to a report published in a newspaper, the decision to appoint a new instructor will be made in Bengaluru on August 31. The race for the post includes Luke Woodhouse, Grant Luden, Rajinikanth Shivaganam, Nick Webb and Anand Date.

The responsibility of selecting the support staff of Team India was given to the selection committee headed by MSK Prasad. This committee selected the batting coach, bowling coach and fielding coach last week. Under this, Vikram Rathod has been elected batting coach, R Sridhar fielding coach and Bharat Arun bowling coach. According to the report, the team management wants an Indian as a trainer. It is said that the players have secretly told the names of the potential candidates. But the selection committee does not agree with his choice.

A person associated with this case told what he meant by taking Ranadeep Moitra of Kolkata and he used to work on field cricket 10 years ago. Why did the COA not call Paul Chapman or Ramji Srinivasan? Chapman has worked with the Indian cricket team as well as the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. Srinivasan has been a trainer of the World Cup-winning team. He has experience working with celebs like Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid. At the same time, the COA says that this is an effort to get the best trainer to the team.
