Tech Mahindra, a leading provider of technology consulting and digital transformation solutions, has partnered with Universal Scientific Industrial (USI), a global leader in electronic design and manufacturing, to establish USI's first Engineering Offshore Development Center (ODC) in India. Situated in Tech Mahindra’s Bengaluru office, this new center aims to accelerate advancements in smart device engineering and innovation.
The collaboration is set to deliver scalable solutions, faster time-to-market, and groundbreaking advancements. By leveraging Tech Mahindra's expert talent pool and cutting-edge laboratories, the center will focus on future-oriented technologies such as connected devices, additive manufacturing, connected vehicles, and augmented and virtual reality. This marks a key milestone for USI as it strengthens its engineering capabilities in India, with a focus on software development, hardware design, and testing.

The center will offer comprehensive services, including modem software development, Android telephony, middleware, board support package (BSP), device driver engineering, and advanced hardware and printed circuit board (PCB) design. By combining Tech Mahindra’s expertise in next-generation technologies with USI’s innovation-focused approach, the center will enhance capabilities in modem, radio frequency software, and video bar development.
