Vaibhav Mathur has become famous by playing the role of Teeka Ram in the show and now even in real life, people call him as Teeka Ram. This journey of Vaibhav to Teeka Ram has been very difficult. Vaibhav has told that he had to face many difficulties after coming to Mumbai from Jaipur. At that time, he used to go to auditions in many places, ask for work but the talk was not made. Despite all this, he did not lose hope and travelled on foot for miles and sought work. While walking, he used to ask for water from someone while standing on the stall somewhere and used to go ahead after drinking. During this, Vaibhav talked about his selection and said, 'Once I reached for an audition. 20-25 pictures of me were taken there. When I was coming back from there, I got a call from the person in the middle and I was called back.'

He asked me - have you done theatre? When Vaibhav said yes, he was asked to perform an act. When Vaibhav acted, the producers who took the audition said that the performance is very loud, the loud performance of television is not required. I acted again by following his advice which froze him. From there I got the first television serial of my career. I did about 40 episodes of that show. He wanted to work in films but he got work in TV industry through which he is a famous personality today.
