Madhya Pradesh: The two people who took at least 11 teenage girls from Madhya Pradesh's Dindori district on the pretext of providing them good jobs were rescued from Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu. The accused said that they get a commission of Rs. 500 on each girl.

Dindori SP Simala Prasad while Addressing a press briefing said the girls were taken without informing the nearest police station.

"The minor girl had gone from Shahpura to Jabalpur, and because there was a delay in the information we received, we could not rescue the girls. Then we went to the village and inquired and came to know that that the girls went to Tamil Nadu."

"A couple of things aroused our suspicion. For starters, they had made fake Aadhar cards and many girls had the same date of birth. Also if their ultimate destination was working in a thread factory, why were only girls taken?" she added.
