New Delhi: With the second wave of corona subsiding, the operation of closed trains is slowly beginning to begin. In fact, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has said that the service of private train Tejas Express will be resumed from August. In a report to the stock market, IRCTC said that tejas express between Mumbai and Ahmedabad will be resumed from August 7, 2021.
The train used to run four days a week on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays (82902/82901) between Mumbai and Ahmedabad was stopped on April 2, 2021 due to the second wave of corona. Tejas Express is the first private and corporate train in the country. It is noted for its features. Food, breakfast and drinking water on this train is free. Tejas Express has dynamic fair system.
Passengers do not get any concession tickets in this train. However, children under the age of 5 years have been exempted from rent. Children aged 5 years and above are paid full rent and are given a seat. This train does not have any immediate quota or premium immediate quota. There is only one general quota and foreign tourist quota. There are six seats in executive class and 12 seats in chair car for foreign tourists.
