Patna: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav will undergo a kidney transplant in Singapore on Monday. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav left for Singapore on Saturday night to be present with his father during the operation. Lalu's close aide Bhola Yadav and Tejashwi's political advisor Sanjay Yadav also accompanied him. At the same time, former CM Rabri Devi and elder daughter Misa Bharti are already present in Singapore along with the RJD chief. Lalu Prasad Yadav's second daughter Rohini Acharya will donate a kidney to her father.

Lalu Prasad Yadav and his daughter Rohini Acharya will be admitted to the hospital for pre-surgery tests on Sunday, after which a kidney transplant operation will be done on Monday. On Saturday, Rohini posted a photo with her father on social media and wrote, "We have not seen God, but I have seen my father as God. Lalu Prasad Yadav left for Singapore on November 25 along with Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti.''

On the other hand, before leaving for Singapore, Tejashwi had campaigned extensively for the Kurhani assembly by-election to be held on December 5. Tejashwi Yadav also played an emotional card during the election campaign and said that if his father was in Bihar, he would have come to Campaign in Kurhani to defeat the BJP, but due to his health condition, he had to go to Singapore for a kidney transplant operation. The Deputy CM called upon the voters to vote for the grand alliance as he said that the victory will have a positive impact on father Lalu's health and he will recover automatically after the happiness of winning the by-elections.
