Patna: In the midst of speculation that the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is attempting to form an alliance with the Janata Dal (United), party leader Tejashwi Yadav has stated that the speculations are 'imaginary.' Speaking to reporters in Delhi, Yadav also said that the CBI raids on Lalu Prasad Yadav's home were 'politically motivated.'

"This is all made up. When I went to New Delhi to meet PM Narendra Modi, it was my initiative and not of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Does this imply that I was forming an alliance with the BJP?" Tejashwi Yadav said to reporters.

Speculations have been sparked in Bihar's political circles after Yadav and Kumar attended Iftaar parties at each other's homes and expressed similar views on Bihar's caste-based census. The clarification comes just hours before a meeting to discuss the caste-based census. Nitish Kumar, the state's chief minister, will host an all-party meeting in Patna to discuss the issue of a caste-based census in Bihar. Except for Kumar's ally, the BJP, the JD(U), RJD, AIMIM, and all other political parties have supported the exercise.

There was a political stir as soon as Lalu came to Patna, BJP's attitude also faded

CM Nitish narrated a tremendous story of college days, said- 'When a woman would come...'"

What will happen in Bihar in the next 72 hours? CM Nitish's order - no MLA should go out of 'Patna'.
