Patna: The RJD, which is opposing the Agnipath scheme, on Tuesday made a big announcement and announced a boycott of the session of the Bihar legislature. On Wednesday, members of opposition parties will stage a protest in front of the statue of Karpoori Thakur in the legislature. Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly Tejashwi Yadav enumerated the shortcomings of the Agnipath scheme and said that we will not go to the House till our words are heard in the temple of democracy.

He said that we boycott the second session of the House after the lunch break on Tuesday. Along with this, on Wednesday, we will stage a protest in front of the statue of Karpoori Thakur. He accused the ruling party of adopting dictatorial behaviour in the House. He said, we want to allow the House to function but the ruling party does not want to allow the House to function. What is the stand of CM Nitish Kumar regarding the Agnipath scheme, it should be clear. BJP state president Sanjay Jaiswal has made serious allegations against the government and the CM. In such a situation, Nitish Kumar should clarify his position on these issues. Instead of answering our questions, there is no seriousness in running the House on behalf of the ruling party. By adopting dictatorial behaviour in the house, discussions are not allowed. We are opposing it.

Cornering the ruling party at Agnipath, Tejashwi said that the issue is of the country as well as Bihar. Many students have been booked into this movement. Many coaching centres are being harassed. We demand that the case filed against them be withdrawn. He further said "Our demand has been that there should be a discussion on Agnipath in the House. The Agnipath Scheme is not good for the youth. We should have a dialogue on this. We want to discuss this in the House. But our demand is being rejected.''
