Tejashwi Yadav to take over as Bihar CM in March: Claims RJD MLA

Patna: Amidst the ongoing political upheaval in the Bihar Grand Alliance, the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) MLA has made a big claim regarding the coronation of Tejashwi Yadav. MLA Vijay Mandal from Dinara said on Tuesday (February 21) that Tejashwi Yadav will become the Chief Minister of Bihar in the next month i.e. March 2023, not in 2025. CM Nitish Kumar himself will hand over the chair to him. Earlier JDU National President Lalan Singh had said that till 2025 only Nitish Kumar is going to be the Chief Minister of Bihar.

According to the report, RJD MLA Vijay Mandal from Dinara seat of Rohtas district made a big claim while talking to the media on Tuesday. This has created a stir in the political circles of Bihar. Vijay Mandal said that we still have faith in Nitish Kumar, he has said that the 2025 elections will be fought under the leadership of Tejashwi Yadav. But, 2025 is still far away. That's why CM Nitish will hand over CM's chair to Tejashwi in March itself. Tejashwi will become the Chief Minister after Falgun. We hope so and there is no doubt about this.

It is believed that this statement of MLA Vijay Mandal may increase bitterness in JDU and RJD. Because, earlier after Upendra Kushwaha left JDU on Monday, the party's national president Lalan Singh said that till 2025 Nitish Kumar will remain the CM. He also denied the talk of CM Nitish making Tejashwi his successor and said that the decision on who will be the CM candidate in 2025 will be taken later.
