Patna: The series of firing incidents in Bihar are not going to stop. Criminals are carrying out incidents without any fear. The latest case is from the Vaishali district. Where an electricity employee was openly shot by miscreants on Saturday morning. The criminals shot the employee four times in the chest and killed him. The deceased was close to Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. Police are investigating the matter.  

The incident took place on the Hajipur-Lalganj main road on Saturday morning. Ajay Tiwari, an electricity employee near Kedar Chowk, reached his grocery shop. Then some criminals came there. He asked for a cigarette and within a few moments, Ajay was shot. The accused fled after the incident. Ajay sustained four to five bullet injuries in his chest and head. He succumbed to his injuries after being shot.  

Ajay Tiwari was working as a lineman in the electricity department. His wife is a panchayat samiti member of Ismailpur in the Sadar police station area. It is said that he was close to Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav. He also had good relations with BJP leaders. The deceased were residents of Minapur Rai village. In 2009, Ajay's father was also shot dead by criminals. The police are currently investigating the case. Ajay's body has been taken to Sadar hospital. A crowd gathered outside the hospital. Angry people blocked the road. The cause of the murder is yet to be ascertained. The incident triggered panic in the area.
