Patna: Leader of opposition Tejashwi Yadav has taken a major initiative to serve the people of the region amid the growing havoc of corona in Bihar. In this regard, they have converted their official accommodation into a Covid Care Centre so that corona infected people can get proper treatment. The covid care centre, built at patna's 1st, Polo Road residence, will treat corona patients free of cost. At the same time, they will also be given free food.

He has written to the Bihar government regarding the opening of a covid care centre in government accommodation, in which he has demanded the government to include the covid care centre operating in the accommodation within its jurisdiction and send the patients for treatment. Bihar leader of opposition Tejashwi had written to CM Nitish Kumar on Tuesday amid the growing havoc of corona. In the letter, he had said that the state government should allow him and all the MLAs of the state to go inside a hospital, PHC, covid care centre etc. in the state and meet the patients and their families. To provide relief to them, you can open a covid care centre and also run a community kitchen etc.

After writing to CM Nitish, he today started a covid care centre from a private fund in his official residence.
