Patna: RJD leader and former Bihar deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav has demanded the CM's resignation alleging 70 scams during the Nitish government. The government has demanded the resignation of the CM. Tejashwi Yadav has said that RJD MLA Ram Prakash Mahato had informed Nitish Kumar on February 21 about the scam in the Nal-Jal scheme. The money in the scam was being transferred to the bank accounts of BJP and JD(U) leaders.

Tejashwi further said that no action has been taken so far in the scam in the Nal-Dhan scheme. "I challenge the CM to name 50 Panchayats where the scheme is functioning properly," he said. Tenders are being floated everywhere for JD(U) and BJP leaders. Tejashwi further said, 'Tar Kishore Prasad was made deputy CM at Sushil Modi's behest, so the question arises whether the scam that took place was paid by Tar Kishore Prasad to Sushil Modi, after which Sushil Modi extended Tar Kishore Prasad's name to deputy CM.'

He further said, "Sushil Modi was the deputy CM at the time of the scam. Nitish Kumar's conscience has already sunk in the Bay of Bengal, so he does not have the courage to take action against the BJP minister. There have been 70 scams in Bihar. Nitish Kumar should have resigned on the basis of conscience and morality.''
