Patna: The grand alliance of RJD and congress has already been broken over the proposed bypoll in Bihar. Now there is a confrontation between the two parties. Meanwhile, it is reported that RJD leader Tej Pratap Yadav is likely to campaign in support of Congress candidate Atithi Kumar from Kusheshwarsthan.

In fact, Congress candidate From Kusheshwarsthan, Atithi Kumar's father and Bihar Congress working president Dr Ashok Kumar met Tej Pratap on Thursday and after the crucial meeting, it is believed that Tej Pratap may seek votes in favour of Athiti Kumar. In response to the recent announcement of the names of two of its candidates in the Kusheshwarsthan and Tarapur seats, Congress has also fielded candidates against the RJD from both seats.

It is being reported that if Tej Pratap campaigned in support of Atithi Kumar from Kusheshwarsthan, the relationship between RJD and Congress may worsen in the coming days. Interestingly, Dr Ashok Ram met Tej Pratap on Thursday at a time when it was claimed by senior RJD leader and vice president Shivanand Tiwari just a day ago that Tej Pratap was not a part of RJD and had been expelled from the party.
