Telangana HM Mahmood Ali reviews progress in Gandhi Hospital gang rape case

Telangana  Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali on Tuesday reviewed the progress in the investigation into the alleged Gandhi Hospital gang rape case.

In a meeting with senior police officials from the Hyderabad City Police, the Home Minister directed officials to comprehensively probe the case and not to spare any person involved in the incident.   Ministers expressed deep regret over the incident and directed the officials that strict action be taken against the accused and directed the police officials to investigate the case from all angles.

City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar briefed the Home Minister about the incident and the investigation going on in the case. Anjani Kumar said special teams were formed to probe the case and to nab all suspects at the earliest. The police commissioner said that special police teams have been set up to nab the accused and they will be nabbed soon. It is been alleged that there is a rape case of a woman attendant of a patient at Gandhi Hospital.
