Hyderabad: According to the Health Bulletin released by the Telangana Medical and Health Ministry on Friday morning, 346 new corona cases were reported across the state in the last 24 hours till 8 pm on Thursday. In addition, two died.

With this, the total number of corona positive cases in Telangana increased to 2,89,135 and the number of deaths to 1,561. So far 2,82,574 victims have recovered from the infection, according to the medical health department. There are currently 5,000 active cases in Telangana. Currently the corona (Covid-19) recovery rate in the state is 97.73 per cent while the mortality rate is 0.53 per cent.

There were 38,985 corona trials in the state yesterday. In addition, as of January 7, the government had tested a total of 71,84,598 samples. The highest number of 66 cases was reported in Hyderabad (GHMC) yesterday.
