His personal assistant found him hanging from a fan in a room in the penthouse. The body has been sent for postmortem. Police officials confirmed that they have not found any suicide note from the deceased leader. Police also said that the BJP leader had an accident and his leg got fractured. His PA told the police that on Monday morning, Gnanendra Prasad asked his PA not to disturb him as he was going to sleep.

However later when the PA knocked on the door of the room to give breakfast, there was no response from inside. Seeing this, the PA did not understand anything and broke the window panes. During this time, he found Gnanendra Prasad hanging from the fan in the room. The police have registered a case on the complaint of the family.
