On Friday, Telangana airlifted 8 oxygen tankers from Odisha. Let us share here that this is first time airlift for oxygen supply happen. In this regard, Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh for their initiative in supplying oxygen to Covid-19 patients in Telangana through IAF aircraft.

For your information let us share that this happen for first time in the country, the aircraft with empty oxygen tankers were flown to Bhubaneswar in Odisha from the Begumpet airport. Here it is needed to mention here that Telangana will be getting 14.5 metric tonnes of oxygen from Odisha, he said in a statement here. Expressing happiness over the Prime Minister’s initiative in helping Telangana to immediately get oxygen, Sanjay said eight empty oxygen tankers left for Odisha from the Begumpet airport.

In this regard Prime Minister PM Modi has already requested the oxygen companies to supply oxygen to hospitals for giving treatment to patients. An action plan was also prepared in coordination with the Ministry of Defence, Civil Aviation and Railways to supply oxygen to all States, he said.
