HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao slammed the Union Budget on Tuesday, calling it "very unsatisfactory," "directionless," "useless," and "purposeless."

In response to Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's Budget presentation in Parliament, he stated the Budget is an absolute disappointment for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, backward classes, minorities, farmers, common man, poor, artisans, and employees.

The Budget, according to KCR, who is also the president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), lacked direction and goal. He claimed that the Finance Minister's speech was hollow and a jumble of words.

The national administration has heaped praise on itself while leaving the average man in a state of melancholy and unhappiness, according to the chief minister.

The TRS leader dubbed it a "Golmaal Budget," saying it did not reflect reality. The Centre has made no steps in the Budget to help the agricultural sector. He called the budget a "huge zero" for farmers and the country's agriculture sector.

"The handloom industry gets nothing in the budget. Employees and small business owners were enraged by the Budget.
