Hyderabad: Cabinet expansion may take place in Telangana today. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who returned to power with a thumping majority, may add new faces to his cabinet. 12 MLAs can be appointed as the presidents of various corporations. According to state government sources, CM Rao has decided to fill all the nominated positions along with full-time nominee posts to strengthen the administration. Rao has decided to give higher posts to senior party leaders, who lost in the last elections, including K. Madhusudan Chari and Jupally Krishna Rao. The State Cabinet is scheduled to meet on Sunday evening.

This meeting is about to approve the budget.
