Communal violence erupted again in Telangana, 10 people including journalists injured, many houses also set on fire

Hyderabad: Once again, there is bloodshed between two communities in Bhainsa in Nirmal district of Telangana. More than 10 people, including journalists, have been injured in stone pelting and arson incidents, three of which remain critical. All three have been admitted to a hospital in Nizamabad. Many houses and vehicles have also been burnt to ashes in this violence.

The violence between the two communities started near a mosque in the city. As soon as the violence was reported, the police reached the scene and took control of the situation. Section 144 has been imposed in the area. BJP MP Arvind Dharampuri from Nizamabad has directed the police to take prompt action in this matter. Arvind Dharampuri tweeted that, "There are reports of communal violence disturbing the buffalo." I request the Police Commissioner of Telangana to control it before the situation worsens. ''

In-charge of Nirmal district, Superintendent of Police Vishnu S. Warrier said that section 144 has been enforced preventing more than five people from gathering at one place. Additional forces have been deployed from neighboring districts and the situation is under control and remains peaceful. Police said that so far four cases have been registered in connection with this incident. More cases will be registered on receipt of complaints. He said that efforts are also being made to take the people involved in the violence into custody.
