Hyderabad: A special court in Hyderabad has granted a major relief to AIMIM MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi in two cases related to inflammatory speeches. The court on Wednesday acquitted Akbaruddin Owaisi in both cases. Akbaruddin is the brother of AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, the two cases in which the special court in Hyderabad pronounced the verdict were registered in Nirmal and Nizamabad in 2012.

Akbaruddin was booked under sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 153-A (creating enmity between two groups on the base of religion) and other sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). In this case, Akbaruddin was granted bail after being in jail for 40 days. Akbaruddin had denied the allegations and 30 witnesses had deposed in the case. The prosecution witnesses did not accuse Akbaruddin of making speeches to incite communal hatred.

However, the FSL report was also submitted by the prosecution to the court, which confirmed that Akbaruddin had the voice in the video containing the inflammatory speech. Let me tell you that in 2012, a video came out. It is alleged that in it, Akbaruddin had made a provocative speech saying that if the police should be removed for 15 minutes, then he will show how 25 crores Muslims can kill 100 crore Hindus.
