HYDERABAD: Governors and Chief Ministers from both Telugu states greeted people on Diwali on Thursday. On the auspicious occasion of Deepavali, Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan extended her warmest greetings to the people of the state. 

In her message, she stated that the festival of lights represents the triumph of good over evil and the dispelling of darkness to usher in a new era of happiness and prosperity. In the true spirit of 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat,' she urged people to buy local products and celebrate the festival in order to bring new light into the lives of indigenous manufacturers. "May this Deepavali usher in new thoughts and promote new ideals to further the brightness, happiness, and prosperity of people everywhere," the Governor said.

She urged people to observe the Covid-19 protocols and celebrate the festival safely, with care, caution, and joy. Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, the Governor of Andhra Pradesh, also expressed his greetings, wishing that the divine lights of Diwali bring everyone peace, prosperity, and happiness.
