Hyderabad: The results of the Intermediate Public Examinations were released on Tuesday, May 9, in Hyderabad by Telangana's Minister of Education, Sabitha Indra Reddy. The official announcement states that "the overall first-year pass rate for intermediate students is 61.68 percent, with girls  passing at a rate of 68.68 percent and boys passing at a rate of 54.66 percent."

"A total of 4,82,675 students took the first-year examination, and 2,97,741 of them passed," it said. The pass rate for the second-year test is 63.49%, with females passing at a rate of 71.57% and males passing at a rate of 55.60%. "Out of 4,65,478 students who appeared for the second-year examination, 2,95,550 students passed the exam," it was further said. With a pass percentage of 74.94% in the first year and 72.73% in the second, the MPC group has the highest rate.

While it improved in the vocational stream, the pass percentage in the general stream declined this year compared to last year in the first and second years.

The Intermediate Board made the results available on the following websites tsbie.cgg.gov.in and results.cgg.gov.in. The students can download the 'Online Memorandum of Marks' (Short Memo) from 5.00 pm, today from the website.

Two sessions of supplemental exams will begin on June 4. From May 10 to May 16, students can pay the supplemental fees at their individual colleges. The Board has also identified Student Counselors in 2500 junior colleges to help students overcome stress and exam fear.

Also, throughout the entire year, Tele-MANAS (Telemental Health Assistance and Networking Across the State) is organised, particularly during Annual Supplementary Examinations and results release at the toll-free number 14416.
