Hyderabad: A lab technician has been arrested on Friday for allegedly killing a scientist at the National Remote Sensing Center (NRSC) in Hyderabad. Police said 56-year-old S Suresh Kumar was found dead in his own apartment on October 1 and there were bruises on his head.

According to the police, Suresh was a technical expert at NRSC. He was living alone away from family. Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar has said in a statement that due to Suresh's loneliness, the accused became close to him in the name of taking blood samples. He took advantage of his loneliness to fulfil his unnatural sexual desires, and in return, he started expecting money. According to the commissioner, when he did not get the money, he conspired to kill Suresh.
