A man committed suicide in Shamirpeta mandal of Medchal district on Saturday. According to the police, Mariyala Anand (23) of village Ponnala in Shamirpeta mandal of Medchal district, three months ago, had taken a loan of Rs 10,000 from lenders at Kuncherukali in Pragyapur of Gajwel mandal of Siddipet district on Saturday. On the night of 22nd of this month, a woman and five others came to Anand's house at Ponnala and asked him to repay the loan.
He insisted that he would write a new document if he paid at least Rs 2,000. Anand tried to take money from his acquaintances but did not get the money. In this background, those who had come for the money took it with them, and on the way, Anand borrowed money.
He borrowed 1000 rupees from his friend in Turkapally. And gave dinner to the lenders and came back home. The lender wrote a new document. Troubled by his condition, Anand, who came home after not getting money from anyone, committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan. Shamirpet police have registered a case and are probing the complaint of the family members.
