Kurnool: The Bureau of Special Enforcement has caught a large amount of illegal liquor. Various brands of liquor were brought from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh illegally. From there, 2103 bottles of illegal liquor were seized.

29 people were arrested in the illegal liquor business. The police seized 4189 gutkha packets, 149 litres of national liquor and 5 vehicles, including liquor bottles.

Seb Circle Inspector Lakshmi Durgaya said the investigation into the vehicles in the Panchalinga check post has been intensified. During the inspection, a large amount of non-duty alcohol was caught. He said that it was a crime to take alcohol-free liquor to the state as per the rules set by the Andhra Pradesh government.
