Prominent writer Mangipudi Radhika was presented the Pravasi Telugu Award on the Telugu Language Day organized in a virtual manner by the South African Telugu Association and Street Arugu-Norway. On this occasion, author Tanikela Bharani announced the names of the awardees and congratulated them. A total of 12 migrant language workers reported for work. Prominent film writers Bhuvanchandra, Vamsi Ramaraju, founder of Vamsi Art Theater and Dr. Migada Ramalingaswamy praised the efforts of the migrant language activists.

Chief Justice of India NV Ramnagar addressed the gathering as the Chief Guest. Radhika Mangipudi narrated the program and led the program in an interesting manner. The event was organized by Vikram Petaluru South Africa, Dr Venkat Tarigopula Norway, Sudhakar Kuwait, Laxman South Africa, Ratnakumar Koutur Singapore, Pisapati Jaya Hong Kong and others.

Telugu Language Day ( Telugu bhāṣā dinōtsavaṁ; "Day of the Telugu Language") is observed on 29 August each year in the State of Andhra Pradesh of the Republic of India. This date was chosen to coincide with the birthday of the Telugu poet Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy. The Government of Andhra Pradesh provides funds and presents awards with the objective of the betterment of the Telugu language. The Department of Culture is responsible for organising the day on behalf of the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
