Telugu industry lyricist Indraganti Srikant Sharma passed away in Hyderabad on Thursday morning. They had been running ill for quite some time. The news of Shrikant Sharma's demise has also soured a wave of grief in the industry. Many stars of Telugu cinema including Nani and Siddhartha have expressed grief over the passing away of the songwriter.

For information, let's tell you that Sharma has written songs for several Telugu films and his songs were featured in the film Newalanka Randu Jella Sita, Puthandiboma, Hypnosis, etc. The last written song of famous lyricist Indraganti Srikant Sharma was in the 2018 film Hypnosum. The film belonged to his son Mohan Krishna. The film was co-produced by Sudhir Babu and Aditi Rao Haideri.

Indraganati Shrikant Sharma started his career as a journalist from Andhra Jyoti.
