South Indian film industry's famous and legendary lyricist Kandikonda passed away on Saturday evening. The entire industry is in shock over the demise of Kandykonda. He breathed his last at the age of 49. According to reports, Kandykonda died due to several health complications. According to the report, Kandykonda was suffering from throat cancer for the past two years. He was also going through financial hardships. Not only that, but he also asked for financial help from his friends. The news of Kandikonda's death has been conveyed by Dr Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, President of The Telugu Cine Writers' Association through social media.

On hearing this bad news given by him, the fans, as well as the stars, have been shocked. Everyone is paying tribute to him on social media. Singer Smita tweeted about her, "I want to tell Twitter and the industry family that lyricist Kandikonda is no more. May God give his family the strength to go through this difficult time.
