Head Constable Surendra Singh, a resident of Rajasthan, has been on the verge for a long time, after 10 years, he got justice. The Punjab-Haryana High Court has issued an order to the CRPF to resume his services. According to the information received, Petitioner told that in 2009 he was dismissed by the CRPF on the charge of shooting and killing his senior partner at Shiv Temple Camp in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.

When the trial went on, the court acquitted him in 2013 after the eyewitness statement turned hostile in the trial court. On the basis of the same witnesses and evidence, the CRPF considered him guilty in the departmental action and was dismissed from his job. In the same High Court, arguments were made on both sides, after which the High Court ruled in favour of the petitioner. The court said in its order that the trial court acquitted the petitioner, on which the Jammu and Kashmir High Court has also given its approval.

According to sources, CRPF had the same evidence in front of the trial court. Every case of acquittal has to be honourable acquitted. Any other definition can be given for this. According to the information received, the petitioner will be reinstated in the job. Though the petitioner will not be entitled for these ten years salary but other benefits including seniority will be given to him.
